You turn off your computer after reading your latest email. It's time to report over to the containment lobby to group up with your squad. Not many D-class guards move up to a task force this quick, especially Epsilon-11, or "Nine Tailed Fox" they call themselves.
You make your way to the lobby and meet up with a friend you've made since joining the foundation, Drane.
"Hey $name" he says with his hand out, "how's it feel to be apart of the big time?"
[["Nervous"]]
[["About time"]]"Nervous to say the least. I just hope everything goes well."
"With the Foundation, nothing ever goes well", Drane says.
You look down, trying to compose yourself for what lies ahead of you with your first day on the task force. Drane notices your body language and puts his hand on your soldier.
"Look, we both knew what was ahead of us when we signed up for this job, you busted your ass to get to this position, so never let it out of your mind that we do this for the better of the world. You got that $name?
"Yeah...yeah man." You say with a big sigh following.
Your Captain, Captain Yuri, walks into the lobby filled with the task force conducting the transfer of the SCP.
"Alright fellas, get your heebie jeebies and talks out now, we leave in T-1 hour, but before that it is best that I show you what this thing is capable of, so after you head to the armory and get set, meet me in meeting room 205. That is all."
The captain walks out of the lobby. Drane taps you on your arm, "C'mon, let's [[get set]]."
(set:$nervous to True)
(set:$Confident to False)"Honestly, thought I'd be recognized a lot sooner. I've been doing so much work in D-Class that I thought I'd be stuck there forever."
Drane chuckles, "Yeah, that's how it is in the beginning, but at least you got here when you did."
"Why do you say that?"
"So that I can make your stay here unbearable." Drane pulls out a beat up dad joke book, something he's had since you've first met him. Seems like some things never change.

(set:$nervous to False)
(set:$Confident to True)After getting your bullet proof vests and helmet on with the rest of the task force, the eight of you enter meeting room 205 as was assigned to go to. You sit around the table with everyone else to discuss what the mission requires from us. At the end of the table, a tape recorder can be seen hooked up to the speakers around the meeting room, with the captain seated beside.
After everyone is seated, the captain gets up from his seat at the end of the table.
"Fellas, I'm not going to put this lightly, this mission is important for the matter of international security. It is up to us to prevent such destruction to this earth by transporting SCP-096 from this base to the other...and it won't be easy."
Cap walks over to the tape recorder with a tape in his hand.
"In order for you all to realize the grasp of this mission, this is the audio log of the interview with the captain from Mobile Task Force MAU-1 after the incident with SCP-096's containment breach in the past. Listen up, this is what we're dealing with lads."
Captain Yuri pops open the tape recorder to begin to [[play it]].

<center>(live:15s)[*Begin Log*
*████████ ████████ Time, Research Area ██*]
(live:18s)[Capt. █████████: It always sucks ass to get Initial Retrieval duty. You have no idea what the damn thing is capable of besides what jacked up information the field techies can scrape up, and you're lucky if they even tell you the whole story. They told us to "bag and tag." Didn't tell us jackshit about not looking at the damn thing.]
(live:36s)[Dr. ███: Could you describe the mission, please?]
(live:38s)[Capt. █████████: Yeah, sorry. We had two choppers, one with my team and one on backup with Zulu 9-B and Dr. ██████. We spotted the target about two clicks north of our patrol path. I'm guessing he wasn't facing our direction, else he would have taken us out then and there.]
(live:55s)[Dr. ███: Your report says SCP-096 didn't react to the cold? It was -██o C.]
(live:62s)[Capt. █████████: Actually, it was -██. And yes, it was butt naked and didn't so much as shiver. Anyway, we landed, approached the target, and Corporal ██ got ready to bag it. That's when Dr. ██████ called. I turned to answer it, and that's what saved me. The target must have turned and my whole squad saw it.]
(live:83s)[Dr. ███: That's when SCP-096 entered an agitated emotional state?]
(live:88s)[Capt. █████████: Yep.]
(live:91s)[Capt. █████████: Sorry. Got the willies for a second.]
(live:94s)[Dr. ███: That's all right.]
(live:95s)[Capt. █████████: Yeah. Well, I never saw its face. My squad did, and they paid for it up the ass.]
(live:101s)[Dr. ███: Could you describe it a little more, please?]
(live:105s)[Capt. █████████: Yeah, yeah. It started screaming at us, and crying. Not animal roaring though, sounded exactly like a person. Really fucking creepy. We started firing when it picked up Corporal ██ and ripped off his leg. God, he was screaming for our help… fuckin 'A… anyway, we were blowing chunks out of the target, round after round. Didn't do jackshit. I almost lost it when it started ***DATA EXPUNGED*** him.]
(live:136s)[Dr. ███: That's when you ordered the use of an AT-4 HEDT launcher?]
(live:142s)[Capt. █████████: An anti-tank gun. Started carrying it ever since SCP-███ got loose. I've seen those tear through tanks like tissue paper. Did the same thing to the target.]
(live:152s)[Dr. ███: There was significant damage to SCP-096?]
(live:156s)[Capt. █████████: It didn't even fucking flinch. It kept tearing apart my squad, but with half of its torso gone. ]
(live:164s)[Dr. ███: But it was taking damage?]
(live:166s)[Capt. █████████: If it was, it wasn't showing it. It must have lost all its organs, all its blood, but it didn't acknowledge any of it. Its bone structure wasn't hurt at all, though. It kept tearing my squad apart.]
(live:179s)[Dr. ███: So no actual structural damage. How many rounds would you say were fired at SCP-096?]
(live:185s)[Capt. █████████: At the least? A thousand. Our door gunner kept his GAU-19 on it for at least twenty seconds. Twenty fucking seconds. That's six hundred .50 caliber rounds pumped into the thing. Might as well been spitting at it.]
(live:201s)[Dr. ███: This is when Zulu 9-B arrived?]
(live:204s)[Capt. █████████: Yeah, and my squad was gone. Zulu 9-B managed to get the bag over its head, and it just sat down. We got it into the chopper and got it here. I don't know how I never saw its face. Maybe God or Buddha or whoever thought I should live. The jackass.]
(live:221s)[Dr. ███: We have obtained an artist's depiction of SCP-096's face. Would you like to view it?]
(live:230s)[Capt. █████████: You know, after hearing that thing's screams, and the screams of my men, I don't think I want to put a face to what I heard. No. Just… no.]
(live:243s)[Dr. ███: All right, I believe we are done here. Thank you, Captain.]
(live:247s)[*Chairs are heard moving, and footsteps leave the room. Captain (Ret.) █████████ is confirmed to have left Interview Room 22.*]
(live:252s)[Dr. ███: Let this be on record that I am formally requesting SCP-096 be terminated as soon as possible.]
(live:260s)[ [[Tape Stops]] ] <center>Everyone left stunned. They've heard the stories and rumors about SCP-096, how looking at its face, even for a millisecond, could end one's life.
"That is what we're transporting. You heard what the 05 said, termination has been approved, and it is up to us to make sure that this thing can make it to its own demise without taking any more lives in the process."
Yuri takes the tape out of the recorder and places it on the table. He notices you sitting next to Drane, knowing that you are the new recruit to the Mobile Task Force (MTF).
"$name!"
"Yes sir?", you say questioningly.
Captain Yuri nods his head in approval and says, "Welcome to the "Nine Tailed Fox".
